Cloud Computing

Cloud Computing refers to the delivery of computing services over the internet (“the cloud”) rather than through local servers or personal computers. These services include servers, storage, databases, networking, software, analytics, and intelligence. By using cloud computing, individuals and organizations can access resources and services on-demand, allowing for flexible resources, faster innovation, and economies of scale.

There are different deployment models of cloud computing, including public, private, and hybrid clouds. Additionally, cloud services are commonly categorized into three main types: Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), which provides virtualized computing resources; Platform as a Service (PaaS), which offers hardware and software tools over the internet; and Software as a Service (SaaS), which delivers software applications through the internet, on a subscription basis.

Cloud computing enables users to host applications and store data securely while ensuring easy accessibility from anywhere with an internet connection, promoting collaboration and efficiency in various sectors.
